XTRA names general counsel

Xtra Lease has appointed Matthew W. Geekie general counsel and secretary for the company. He will direct the company's day-to-day and strategic legal affairs.

He joins Xtra after serving the past five years as assistant general counsel for the Emerson Process Management Group of Emerson Electric Co., a St. Louis-based manufacturer and provider of process control, electrical, electromechanical and electronic products, systems and services.
