Cardinal Taps Bowman

N.C.-based Cardinal Logistics Management, Inc. has tapped Jerry Bowman to be its executive vp and gm. He will be responsible for business development and operations, pursuing both existing and new customer relationships to extend recent growth initiatives. Bowman has more than 25 years of logistics and transportation experience and was a member of the executive team at Ryder Integrated Logistics.

Bowman has more than 25 years of logistics and transportation experience and was a member of the executive team at Ryder Integrated Logistics. He also worked at Ryder as a senior vp for the U.S. and Canada with profit and loss responsibility for a business unit of over $1 billion in annual revenue and 10,000 employees.

After leaving Ryder in 1998, Bowman joined Pameco Corporation, a U.S.-based wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment and parts. He served as COO of Pameco until September of 1999, when he was named president and CEO of Pameco’s electronic commerce company.
