Truck drivers holding off on buying cell phone headsets now have one less reason to do so

Truck drivers holding off on buying cell phone headsets now have one less reason to do so. FreeHeadset.org is offering headsets for a mere $3.94, which covers shipping and handling costs.

The online store offers earpiece speakers with a suspended neck-level microphone and an all-in-one headset with boom micro phone that wraps around the ear, The New York Times reported.

Matt MacAdams founded the company last year after he witnessed a driver who was distracted on his phone, which led to an accident which killed a mother and injured her daughter, according to The New York Times.
