Cummins Wesport taps Brooks

Cummins Westport Inc. has hired Robert Brooks to be its vp of engineering and technology and chief technical officer. Brooks formerly worked for Columbus, IN-based Cummins as executive director of electronic tools and information products. Cummins Westport Inc. has hired Robert Brooks to be its vp of engineering and technology and chief technical officer. Brooks formerly worked for Columbus, IN-based Cummins as executive director of electronic tools and information products.

Brooks will be responsible for the development of existing Cummins Westport spark-ignited natural gas powered engine products. He will also focus on completing the development and market-readiness of new Westport-cycle engine products such as the Cummins Westport ISX-G 400 horsepower natural gas truck engine and the Cummins Westport natural gas version of the Cummins QSK power generator engine.
