Site assesses DOT compliance

A web site jointly developed by DAC Services and TransForce Services Group (TSG) offers fleet managers self-assessment tools to help them determine if they might be subject to a Dept. of Transportation safety audit. The site (www.datservices.com/TSG/safetstat.html) also includes information on potential fines for fleet violations of Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations and a white paper on fleet safety files maintained by DOT.

The two partners have also joined to offer fleets turnkey programs for ensuring compliance. The new partnership will provide a single source for driver background checks and drug/alcohol testing, as well as safety management training to help fleets comply with FMSC regulations and correct current violations.
