Dedicated Transport Goes it Alone

Dec. 20, 2004
Dedicated Transport separates from Distribution Technologies

Dedicated Transport Inc. has announced it will now operate as a separate, independent company after a buyout of the company from Distribution Technologies Inc., effective immediately.

Dedicated Transport will continue to operate from its headquarters in Cleveland and retain the same management team, headed by Frank Wagner, president & CEO, and Tom McDermott, executive vp & COO.

“By becoming an independent company, we believe that Dedicated Transport is better positioned to expand our dedicated contract carriage services more rapidly to meet the growing marketplace demand across a broad range of industries, including automotive, packaging and food & beverage,” said Wagner.

“The ownership transition will be transparent to our customers,” he added. “They will continue to receive the same reliable, high-quality value-added services that they’ve come to expect from us.”
