Hebert Cooper has been named manager of service and warranty for Autocar LLC, the manufacturer and marketer of the Xpeditor line of Class 8 low-cabover-engine trucks. In his new position, Cooper is responsible for developing and administering warranty and service programs for the Xpeditor.

“Best-in-class customer service and warranty fulfillment are the pillars on which we are building Autocar,” said Bob Atkins, Union City, IN-based Autocar's general manager. “Herb Cooper is developing programs that guarantee every warranty and service concern is addressed immediately.”

Cooper has held a wide variety of customer service and sales positions for numerous OEMs, including Sterling Truck Corp., Volvo GM Heavy Truck, White Motor Corp. and Ford Motor Co.

Autocar LLC was formed last July when parent company Grand Vehicle Works Holdings LLC purchased the Autocar name and the Xpeditor truck line from Volvo Trucks North America.
