Michelin Upping Retread Prices

Michelin Retread Technologies has announced it will increase its prices by an overall average of 6% on retread rubber products sold in the U.S. The Wall Street Journal reported last month that the company told its investors that prices for natural rubber jumped 41% last year. The price increase announcement was made in response to rising rubber and commodity prices, which has hurt Michelin’s bottom-line.
