The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has awarded 39 grants totaling $191,574 to small businesses looking to purchase equipment or implement strategies that reduce pollution. Of these companies, 19 are in the trucking industry.
The awards are part of the states’s Small Business Advantage Grant Program, which provides a 50% matching grant up to $7,500. To qualify, a small business must be based in Pennsylvania and employ less than 100 people.
