Two subsidiaries of global logistics and consulting firm Quadrivius have joined forces to publish a 48-page cargo-handling manual for flatbed carriers.

Eflatbed.com, an online logistics company, and sister company InnerLink Strategic Solutions Inc., have put together a 48-page loading and securement manual that contains general safety rules and illustrated instructions on the proper securement of flatbed loads, including steel coils, pipe, lumber, and other building materials.

Quadrivius said the manual has won an international award for distinguished technical communication from the Society for Technical Communication.
