The Council of Fleet Specialists (CFS) has announced the establishment of a scholarship fund in honor of industry veteran Leon Settles, who passed away on Jan. 24. He died at age 82.
Settles founded Oklahoma City-based Weldon Parts in 1955, which has since expanded across 10 locations in four states. He was also one of the founders of CFS.
The scholarship will benefit undergraduate students enrolled in Northwood University’s Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Management Program at all three of their campuses.
