BAX Global Adds Canada to BAXSaver Service

BAX Global Inc. has expanded its BAXSaver transportation service to include delivery between Canada and the United States, encompassing door-to-door time-definite service for industrial shippers of heavier freight. BAXSaver is a distance-based, zone-priced transportation service with no size or weight restrictions. BAX Global said its BAXSaver Canada service will initially be available between the U.S. and the major Canadian cities of Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.

BAX Global added that it believes price will be a major component to marketing its BAXSaver Canada service. The company said the cost of this service will be close to that of typical LTL freight rates.
