Frank Stackhouse, vice president of litigation for Schneider National has been elected president of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), a 750-member group involved exclusively with the defense of the trucking industry in personal injury, property damage and worker's compensation claims.

The group, which includes defense lawyers, trucking companies and insurance companies, assists members in reducing the number and frequency of claims and lawsuits made against owners and operators of commercial vehicles.

Stackhouse has been affiliated with TIDA for six years and served on the board of directors for three years prior to his election.
