Xata Supplies New Applications to Qualcomm

Xata Corp., a supplier of onboard computing systems for transportation companies, is now offering two XataNet applications for use with Qualcomm’s MVPc in-vehicle computer.

Xata’s Electronic Driver Logs and Fuel Tax programs automate driver logs, monitor state-line crossings and calculate fuel tax, allowing drivers and fleet managers to focus on customer service.

Xata began a pilot program with Penske Logistics in mid-March with its Electronic Logs and Fuel Tax applications. Convenience Transportation also is testing the applications within its fleet, said the company.
