Logistics.com, a developer of logistics systems for shippers and carriers, has launched OptiManage 7, an Internet-based real-time transportation management system.

OptiManage 7 is designed to monitor critical metrics and events, making real-time adjustments to the routing guide that protect service and savings. Burlington, MA-based Logistics.com said it would provide OptiManage 7 via an application service provider arrangement to reduce expenses or via remote host or as a traditional licensed software system.

The company added that OptiManage 7 offers strategic supply-chain visibility features, such as intelligent freight monitoring, SKU-level electronic data interchange and Internet-based tracking and tracing options. It can also provide advanced freight audit and payment methods like automated payment, Logistics.com said.
