Phillips Industries’ displays anti-corrosive technology at MATS

Phillips Industries has developed a number of products to solve the corrosion problems fleets are seeing in electrical and air brake interface components.

Visitors to Phillips’ booth at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY, next week will get a first-hand look at a “live” corrosion test tank. They will also receive samples of foam gaskets that can be used as short-term solutions to reduce corrosion in seven-way connectors. Phillips’ STA-DRY products will be displayed as well.

The manufacturer says it has been addressing the issue of testing procedures insufficient to show the actual effects of de-icing compounds on their products. The goal was to create a test that closely replicates field failures in order to develop the appropriate solutions.
