Custom Technology Solutions (CTS) has announced a partnership with Universal Brake Parts (UBP) to provide the brake parts maker with a data warehouse application designed to manage inventory control issues.
CTS’s data warehouse, Datacast, provides an Oracle-based decision support system for manufacturers, warehouse distributors and service dealer groups, helping to integrate the automotive supply chain.
Datacast will provide the foundation of UBP’s new supply chain management system. The decision-support and data-mining capabilities provided through Datacast’s sales and profitability analysis will enable UBP to have more accurate and timelier views of its parts in the supply chain.
