Green Joins Yellow Board

Kansas-based TL carrier Yellow Corp. has added UtiliCorp United Chairman and CEO Richard C. Green, Jr. to its board of directors, replacing Klaus E. Agthe, who is retiring from the board on April 19, 2001. Kansas-based TL carrier Yellow Corp. has added UtiliCorp United Chairman and CEO Richard C. Green, Jr. to its board of directors, replacing Klaus E. Agthe, who is retiring from the board on April 19, 2001.

Green, 46, has served as chairman and CEO of electric energy producer UtiliCorp since 1985, when the company was formed from its predecessor, Missouri Public Service Co. From 1976 to 1985, he held a number of financial, operating and executive positions at Missouri Public Service.

Agthe has served as a director for Yellow Corp. since 1984. He is a former director and North American Liaison for the VIAG Group of Munich, Germany.
