Emery Forwarding, a division of third-party logistics firm Menlo Worldwide, has named Daniel O'Connell as its vp, controller and treasurer. O'Connell will be responsible for accounting, budgeting, strategic business planning and financial reporting. Emery Forwarding, a division of third-party logistics firm Menlo Worldwide, has named Daniel O'Connell as its vp, controller and treasurer. O'Connell will be responsible for accounting, budgeting, strategic business planning and financial reporting.

Prior to this appointment, O'Connell was vp of finance and administration for now-defunct Emery Worldwide Airlines. He has 29 years of experience in financial, management and operational accounting in the transportation services industry, beginning his career with Consolidated Freightways as a staff accountant in 1972.
