New headlight law in Pennsylvania

While the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (Penndot) is still in the process of supplying all of its county maintenance crews with new signs to remind motorists to turn their headlights on, the law has already gone into effect.

According to Penndot, the new headlight law is a secondary offense and punishable by a fine of $25 when signs are in place. Penndot said it plans to work closely with the Pennsylvania State Police to enforce the new law.
