Designed specifically for the next-generation cellular data service GPRS (general packet radio service), a new fleet tracking system from Navtrak will operate on the T-Mobile USA and AT&T Wireless national GPRS network.

The Mobile Manager 904G can monitor vehicle speed, idle time, cargo temperature, door openings and other events, transferring data back to host systems over the new high-speed wireless network. It can handle up to eight inputs and automatically sends position information every five minutes.

The system's back-office application, Street Suite 3.0, can use the transmitted data in real-time or store it for analysis and reporting.
