Petro-Canada has announced its Duron XL Synthetic Blend 10W-40 is the first 10W-40 grade heavy duty engine oil to meet Mack Trucks Inc.’s EO-N Premium Plus ’03 specification.

The Mack EO-N Premium Plus ’03 spec is required for the Mack ASET line of engines, which utilize exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). The oil is formulated for operators requiring engine oil with excellent low-temperature capabilities that can meet the latest low-emission engine requirements, the oil maker said.
