    Nissan North America (NNA) of Gardena, CA has made FedEx Express and FedEx Ground its exclusive carriers for all of Nissan’s express document, air freight and small-package ground shipments within the United States and prepaid shipments from the U.S. to Canada.

    Nissan said it ships about 2.9-million packages per year in the U.S., including documents, vehicle parts, supplies and equipment. Neither the monetary value of the contract nor its length were disclosed. The contract does not cover shipments into the U.S., or those destined for foreign addresses other than Canada, said Nissan.

    The agreement covers all of Nissan’s 65 U.S. locations, which are involved in vehicle development, manufacturing, sales, service and financing.
