    J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc, a major sponsor for Trucker Buddy International, recently announced plans to develop a new teacher’s curriculum guide for the trucking pen-pal program. J.J. Keller announced this as it made its second installment of a three-year, $100,000 grant made to Trucker Buddy—the largest the program has ever received.

“A revamped Trucker Buddy’s curriculum guide will be a huge asset to our teachers and drivers,” said Roxane Rose, executive director, Trucker Buddy. “The funds will enable us to research the materials that should to be included in the curriculum guide so that it helps meet federal education requirements, as well as make the publication easily available to our teachers and drivers.”

Trucker Buddy is a non-profit organization that helps educate and mentor schoolchildren via pen-pal relationships between students and professional drivers. The grant will enable the organization to grow its program and further supplement the education of schoolchildren in grades two through eight.
