Rich to head Goodyear's North American tire unit

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has appointed Jonathan D. Rich president of the company's North American Tire unit, effective December 1. Rich succeeds John C. Polhemus, who will retire after more than 33 years with the company. Rich currently serves as president of the Goodyear Chemical division.
