Canary joins Alabama business group

Former American Trucking Assns. president Bill Canary has been named to head up the Business Council of Alabama (BCA), a nonprofit association that represents about 5,000 businesses across the state. Canary became president of ATA in October 2001, with the understanding that Kansas Gov. Bill Graves would replace him when he left office. Graves took over at ATA on January 15.
