ArvinMeritor has named Harry Howard vp and gm of the company's Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business group. He is in charge of strategic management the company's heavy- and medium-duty commercial vehicle aftermarket component sales and service. He will operate from ArvinMeritor's CVA headquarters in Florence, KY.
Formerly, Howard was director of marketing for Pioneer-Standard Electronics, where he led worldwide marketing and e-commerce. Prior to that, he served as executive director of aftermarket marketing and sales for Volvo Trucks North America.
