New president at Schneider National

Schneider National Inc.'s board of directors has elected Christopher B. Lofgren as president & chief executive officer, succeeding Donald J. Schneider, who will remain a member of the board. Lofgren joined Schneider Logistics in 1994 as a vice president and has served as CIO. He has been COO of Schneider National since 2000. Schneider National Inc.'s board of directors has elected Christopher B. Lofgren as president & chief executive officer, succeeding Donald J. Schneider, who will remain a member of the board.

Lofgren joined Schneider Logistics in 1994 as a vice president and has served as CIO. He has been COO of Schneider National since 2000.

"The outstanding performance over the past two years under Chris' leadership as COO, including 13% growth this year, gives the board great confidence in Chris and his leadership team," said board member Ernie Micek.

Green Bay, WI-based Schneider National is a provider of transportation and logistics solutions and is the largest truckload carrier in North America.
