USFreightways Corp. today announced the introduction of USF Guaranteed, a guaranteed delivery component, to its portfolio of less-than-truckload services.

"USF Guaranteed is a natural extension of our recently announced USF Premier and USF PremierPlus services,” said Samuel K. Skinner, USFreightways’ chairman & CEO, adding that the company’s reputation for high-level performance and responsiveness in all of its markets nationwide is now backed by a guarantee.

USF Guaranteed provides customers guaranteed on-time delivery by 5 p.m. local time within the USF Premier and USF PremierPlus service standards as well as proactive notification upon delivery and in the instance of a known delay. It also provides a zero-dollar invoice in the unlikely event of a service failure, which includes the cancellation of all linehaul and fuel surcharges.
