Horton ups heavy-duty torque

Offering higher torque for larger fans, the DriveMaster PolarExtreme Fan Drive from Horton is available for new equipment and as a replacement unit. The heavy-duty drive provides 2,400 inch-lbs. of torque to handle the higher cooling requirements of cooled EGR engines, according to the company. Offering higher torque for larger fans, the DriveMaster PolarExtreme Fan Drive from Horton is available for new equipment and as a replacement unit. The heavy-duty drive provides 2,400 inch-lbs. of torque to handle the higher cooling requirements of cooled EGR engines, according to the company.

The new heavy-duty drive is spring-engaged and air-disengaged. A repair kit has also been released for upgrading standard DriveMaster fan drives to PolarExtreme performance levels.

Horton has also expanded its Klondike Series to include front-air repair kits for the Kysor K22FA fan clutch. Kits are offered for both major rebuilds and seal replacements. www.hortonww.com
