Indianapolis-based TST projects delivery to the market of the front-end radar system during 2003. It will use 76.5 GHz forward-looking radar and software that collects following-distance data, which will enable a driver to better manage the distance between his rig and obstacles on the road.

“This is a major step in the natural evolution of collision warning and obstacle detection systems," TST president Michael P. Coyle said.
