The Carroll Fulmer family has announced the buy-back of their trucking company namesake from the Transit Group of Atlanta for a reported $17.2 million to form Carroll Fulmer Logistics Corp.

"We are an old company with new ideas and a new attitude," said president Carroll Fulmer, who has come out of retirement to run the business. "We are proud to have the enthusiasm of a new company, with the same family foundation, strong support staff and drivers that will make us a competitive force in the industry."

Carroll Fulmer Logistics employs both company drivers and owner operators and has multiple divisions, including dedicated/logistics, intermodal, refer and van.
