Gary J. Knight, president of Knight Transportation Inc., has been promoted to vice chairman. He will continue to develop the sales group as the company expands and will continue to work with customers nationwide.
Timothy M. Kohl has been promoted to president from chief financial officer. As president, Kohl’s primary focus will be on the growth and execution of business by the operations centers.
David A. Jackson, who has managed the owner-operator group, has been promoted to chief financial officer. Jackson first managed corporate purchasing when he joined the company in 2000.
