Emery expands brokerage operation

As part of the strategic expansion of its operations along the U.S. borders, Emery Forwarding has opened a new customs brokerage office at the Ambassador Bridge, where Detroit is linked to Windsor, Ontario. The office will provide a full range of customs brokerage services to truck and rail cargo transportation companies at this key crossing between Canada and the United States as well as for NAFTA

As part of the strategic expansion of its operations along the U.S. borders, Emery Forwarding has opened a new customs brokerage office at the Ambassador Bridge, where Detroit is linked to Windsor, Ontario. The office will provide a full range of customs brokerage services to truck and rail cargo transportation companies at this key crossing between Canada and the United States as well as for NAFTA related-cargo destined for Mexico.

Emery added that its customs brokerage unit has two centralized service centers in North America, one in Middleburg Heights, OH, and the other in Toronto. The customs brokers network also includes 39 fully staffed offices in the United States and Canada, each managed by a licensed customs broker.
