USCO Logistics has announced that its Baltimore distribution center has gone 10 years without a lost-workday accident.
The staff was honored earlier this month for its extraordinary safety achievement. John Frick, USCO executive vp and CAO, presented distribution center manager Fred Manzanares with an award citing the accomplishment. Each employee also received individual recognition.
"In a company like ours, where safety is the cornerstone of our operating philosophy, Baltimore is the gold standard that all other locations must measure themselves against," president Robert R. Auray Jr. said.
