In addition to its limited warranty program, used-truck retailer SelectTrucks has introduced what it terms the industry’s most comprehensive 36-month/300,000-mile OEM-backed Class 8 warranty.

“We are committed to providing warranty products that instill confidence in our equipment and service support network,” said Drew Backeberg, manager of marketing & sales management. “The 36-month/300,000-mile limited warranty option offers unparalleled protection and piece of mind to our customers.”

According to Backeberg, the 36-month/300,000-mile warranty option is “designed to expand support for Class 8 vehicles.” He said the new plan is an extension of the SelecTrucks limited warranty that covers all major vehicle components, such as the cab, frame, transmission, engine and rear axle. He noted that customers should inquire at one of the 38 SelecTrucks Centers in the U.S. and Canada for complete warranty details.

SelecTrucks is a Freightliner Market Development Corp. (FMDC) brand and FMDC is a division of Portland, OR-based Freightliner LLC.
