American LaFrance Gets New President

Freightliner LLC has named John Stevenson president of its fire and emergency apparatus subsidiary, American LaFrance.

Stevenson previous served as plant manager for Freightliner’s largest manufacturing facility, based in Cleveland, NC, which employs 3,600 people in the production of heavy-duty trucks.

“John’s strong manufacturing background coupled with his proven leadership abilities and customer focus make him a great choice to lead the American LaFrance organization,” said Freightliner president & CEO Rainer Schmueckle.
