Transit Group's reorganization plan approved

The bankruptcy court of the Middle District of Florida approved Transit Group Inc.'s reorganization plan last week. The trucking company filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code a little less than a year ago. The trucking company, which is now headquartered in Orlando, has about 1,400 units operating throughout the nation. Its businesses include Land Transportation, KAT-R&M Transportation

The bankruptcy court of the Middle District of Florida approved Transit Group Inc.'s reorganization plan last week. The trucking company filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code a little less than a year ago.

The trucking company, which is now headquartered in Orlando, has about 1,400 units operating throughout the nation. Its businesses include Land Transportation, KAT-R&M Transportation and Priority Transportation.
