AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources Corp. today introduced its thirdtrucking industry portal for for-hire carriers.

CarrierFleetXchange allows commercial fleets to buy major brands of tires, lubricants, batteries, brakes, engines, transmissions, tools, truck bodies, shop tools and lift trucks at volume pricing levels. The system features opportunities for regional trucking companies beyond procurement like transportation services.

In addition, CarrierFleetXchange includes interactive forums for participants, reviews of products and support information posted by vendors.

AmeriQuest officials forecast that users of the new service may see savings on procurement of between 10 and 25%, depending on the product line.

The site joins FoodFleetXchange and FleetXchange, which covers fleets across all industries. All three sites, which currently represent 750,000 power units, are open to qualified fleet professionals.
