The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) has released a report designed to aid truck equipment distribution firms in benchmarking profitability. The 2004 NTEA Distributor PROFIT Survey Report features detailed financial results of other such firms.
Components include an explanation of statistics and an executive summary containing an overview of the study results, with emphasis between the typical and high-profit truck equipment distributor firm.
Individual sections cover return on investment, income statement, balance sheet, financial ratios, productivity ratios, line of business analysis, market data analysis, trend analysis, and an overview of the survey methodology and detailed information on the calculation of financial ratios used in the report.
