NTEA recently released the results of its 2001 Shop Installation Survey Results Report, which can be used to compare installation times and shop productivity. It can also serve as a benchmark when setting up flat-rate compensation or bonus systems. Included in the report is data on personnel, employee compensation, shop profits and material-handling equipment, and installation times for 23 types of commercial truck bodies and equipment.
