A 1,250-hp Mercedes-Benz engine boasting 2,700 ft-lb. of torque powers his modified Freightliner. Its ZF 5-speed transmission has been modified for racing. The suspension is a four-link front end and three-link rear end. The truck weighs 8,000 lb. and has reached speeds of 100 mph.

Ryan recently set his fifth record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, which is held annually in Colorado Springs, CO. This year’s race will be July 1st and will air on NBC.

The Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week is a networking and educational event for heavy-duty distributors, manufacturers and truck fleet/heavy-duty specialists.
