The new 102-door facility is situated on 12.5 acres and includes a 12-bay maintenance shop. The move was completed on December 14 and increases USF Bestway's existing capacity in Dallas by over 62%, according to the carrier.
"The Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex continues to be one of our strongest growth areas,” said Gary Beggs, president of USF Bestway. “Despite the economic downturn, we've been able to show real growth there during 2001, and expect even greater growth in 2002."
USF Bestway provides next-day and regional service to Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas.
