Smaller, but with longer life and less air-flow restriction, the Donaldson PowerCore filter was developed to handle the hotter running temperatures of heavy-duty truck engines, as well as aerodynamic designs that have more compact engine compartments, according to the manufacturer.

Unlike conventional air filters, Donaldson's PowerCore does not require a hollow core or clearance space for proper airflow, offering designers of heavy-duty trucks more mounting and packaging options.

The PowerCore features a high-density, advanced media technology and straight-through airflow for reduced restriction and extended filter life, according to Donaldson.

The media is contained in a metal-free cartridge that traps contaminants for cleaner, easier servicing, and seals with the company's patented RadialSeal.
