Aether makes deal with Minnesota carrier

Aether Systems Inc. announced today that truckload carrier J&R Schugel Trucking Inc. has switched its entire fleet to the Aether MobileMax system for wireless vehicle tracking and messaging. Aether Systems Inc. announced today that truckload carrier J&R Schugel Trucking Inc. has switched its entire fleet to the Aether MobileMax system for wireless vehicle tracking and messaging.

New Ulm, MN-based J&R Schugel has a fleet of about 600 tractors and 850 trailers.

The MobileMax system transmits dispatch and data messages and GPS position reports, and provides data on state-line crossings, vehicle fault codes and driver performance.
