Retek Inc., a retail industry software provider, has formed a strategic relationship with G-Log, a logistics and transportation software maker, to offer a customized transportation management system to retailers worldwide. Retek said it will incorporate the G-Log solution as part of its end-to-end retail supply chain and logistics offering, so retailers can manage all orders and shipments, both domestic and international, through a single, integrated global system across the multi-enterprise supply chain. Retek added that this system should help retailers streamline the customer order process and improve the speed of order fulfillment.
