Pierce Manufacturing Inc. has entered into an exclusive partnership with LDV Inc. of Burlington, WI, to produce and market a full line of mobile command post vehicles used for homeland security applications.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pierce will provide the custom and commercial apparatus. LDV will integrate custom vehicle interiors and communications systems.

The marketing partnership focuses primarily on a full line of custom and commercial mobile command post vehicles, which feature biological and chemical-ready bodies, communications centers, conference rooms and integrated satellite television, phone, radio and data/voice communications.

Pierce is a manufacturer of custom fire and rescue apparatus, and LDV is a supplier of mobile command post vehicles.
