Workers at Overnite Transportation's terminal in Southborough, MA have filed a petition for Teamster representation, according to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. An Overnite worker said the majority of the workers there are in favor of Teamster representation at this time, according to the Teamsters.

The filing comes in the midst of two-year strike against the company for what the Teamsters consider “gross and pervasive unfair labor practices.” The Teamsters say Overnite's unlawful conduct has made free and fair elections at the company virtually impossible.

Overnite is the trucking subsidiary of Union Pacific Corporation.
