Ann Arbor, MI-based LTL carrier Con-way Freight is adding a “one-click” function to its web site, www.con-way.com/freight, so users can more quickly access secured personalized tools and the most frequently used functions they favor.

This new one-click feature – called “myHome/Login” – gives registered users the ability to work from a menu of personalized electronic tools, with options to create their own home page showing one of the tools when they log into the site, said Jacquelyn Barretta, Con-way Freight’s vp & CIO.

“The tools menu includes electronic pickup requests, company-specific rating, customized performance reports, shipment tracking with email status reports, proof-of- delivery, electronic bill of lading creation, shipment manifests, freight bill copies, claims processing and electronic invoicing,” she said.

“We’ve given shippers faster access to high-use tools that are company-specific; an added convenience that saves them time during the workday while ensuring information accuracy and confidentiality,” Barretta noted.
