CargoSmart appoints new CEO

CargoSmart Limited, an Internet-based system for container transportation management, has appointed Steve Siu as its CEO.

Previously, Siu was a member of CargoSmart's board of directors and chief technology officer for Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL). He holds an M.S. telematics and a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.

San Jose-based CargoSmart has also named Dorinda Jung as its carrier program director and Ian Sehgal as its strategic alliances director.

Jung is working with ocean carriers to develop and implement a plan for them to roll out CargoSmart to their customers. Sehgal is developing strategic alliances to broaden CargoSmart's product offerings. He has six years of logistics and transportation industry experience and seven years of financial industry experience.
